Video wall schedule by weekday
Different show, different hour. Put Lobby Wall on weekdays, Night Loop after hours, and leave quiet gaps when nothing should play.
Before you start
- Create at least two groups in Video groups (name + color help on the timeline).
- Each group should already have videos and monitors assigned — the schedule only picks which group runs when.
Steps
- Open Video schedule You will see a palette of group chips and a Mon–Sun timeline.
- Drag a group onto a weekday Drop a colored chip on the day row. The block represents that group for that time range.
- Resize start and end Drag the left or right edge of a block to set when the layout begins and ends. Finish adjusting — NARANI saves automatically.
- Fill the week you need Repeat for evenings, weekends, or holidays. Empty ranges stay dark: nothing plays in those hours.
- Check Status while it runs On Status, NARANI shows which group is playing and whether it came from the schedule or the default selection.
If a group is already playing when a new block starts, NARANI waits until the current loop finishes, then switches. That avoids cutting mid-clip on the wall.
Tips for venues
- Use clear group names and distinct colors so staff can read the week at a glance.
- Pair with kiosk settings so the schedule runs without a visible desktop.
- Need the PC off at night? Use Shutdown schedule for per-weekday power-off pins.
